Liver Cancer Treatment Monitoring Kit MethyLiverMT
MethyLiverMT is a treatment response–monitoring product that quantitatively measures the concentration of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA), a methylation marker specific to liver cancer.
The development of precision medicine has enabled technology that measures ctDNA present in cell-free DNA (cfDNA) in blood, using techniques that determine mutations and methylation for use in cancer diagnosis, companion diagnosis, and treatment monitoring. Active research is ongoing.
Previous studies have reported that the concentration of cfDNA increases in cases of complications or recurrence after treatment. We are developing a test that can quickly respond to recurrence by monitoring the patient's treatment effects and recurrence using real-time blood tests.
